Avju Solutions has received both approval and funding from the European Space Agency (ESA) to carry out a larger pre-project within space-related technology. The approval reflects ESA’s assessment that Avju Solutions’ technology is of high relevance and quality, warranting inclusion in ESA’s supported project portfolio.
Within the pre-project, Avju Solutions will be responsible for testing and validating its own technology under ESA’s established framework. The project will be conducted in accordance with ESA’s methodologies, standards, and quality requirements, providing a structured and professional environment for further maturation of the solution.
The objective of the pre-project is to demonstrate how the technology can support additional business areas with clear societal value, beyond its current application in monitoring energy systems and critical infrastructure. The project is positioned within the context of space research, with emphasis on versatility, robustness, and broader applicability.
ESA’s decision to both approve and financially support the project represents a strong professional endorsement of Avju Solutions’ technology and team. As Europe’s leading organization for space research and space technology, ESA applies strict evaluation criteria related to technical maturity, execution capability, and long-term relevance.
“This is an important milestone for Avju Solutions,” says Magnus Haugen, CMO at Avju Solutions. “Receiving approval and funding from ESA is a clear recognition of the technology we are developing and provides a solid foundation for further growth.”
For Avju Solutions, the collaboration with ESA enables continued development within an internationally recognized framework, while strengthening the company’s position in space-related and socially beneficial technology domains.
The project underlines Avju Solutions’ ambition to deliver reliable, industry-grade technologies aligned with international standards, and to contribute solutions with tangible societal impact.
